Adding preset properties to a component, connection or type

Standard libraries of properties can be specified and assigned to anything else in the architecture. These libraries are known as Standards. By using Standards, you only need to gather specific systems properties - the standard properties are already there.

For example the standard performance characteristics of Microsoft Windows 2000 can be saved as a Standard and assigned to any components (or connections, not that that would be typical) using the Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system.

To add a standard to a component, connection or type

1.Right-click on the component/connection/type.

2.Select Assign Standard.

3.Select a Standard from the list.
